Advanced User Interface Interaction using UiPath Robots
In the first event of this RPA Workshop Series, we did all that we needed to do in order to be set to learn the fundamentals of UiPath’s RPA technology so we can begin to imbibe an “Automation First” perspective in our daily lives.
In this workshop, we shall see what Flowcharts and Sequences are about, and the basics of how they work. We shall then move on to the concept of Activities, and how they are used as the basic building blocks RPA tasks.
Data manipulation is a critical aspect of human interactions on the User Interface of a computer system so we shall look into how to create and use variables, and also how to deal with scenarios where a task involves modifying data.
Next, we shall make use of UiPath recorders to enable us quickly create simple automation skeletons from basic, desktop, web and Citrix UI environments. We shall use these functions to automate Notepad, a custom form application, and a website.
